1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the VeldBees Biltong website (veldbeesbiltong.co.za) and any orders you place through it. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Business Details

3. Products and Availability
All products are subject to availability. As our biltong is handcrafted in batches, we may occasionally be unable to fulfil an order. Where we cannot supply an ordered product, we will notify you and refund any amount already paid for that item.
4. Orders and Acceptance
An order placed through the website is an offer to purchase. A sale is only concluded once we accept your order and/or dispatch the products. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order, including where stock is unavailable or where payment has not been received.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and are payable in full before dispatch. Payment may be made by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) into our bank account (details provided at checkout), and by credit/debit card and other supported methods via PayFast. Card transactions are processed through PayFast by Network, an approved South African payment gateway. Your card details are entered on PayFast’s secure platform and are not stored by VeldBees Biltong. You can review PayFast’s security and policies at https://payfast.io.
6. Merchant Outlet Country and Currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. The transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
7. Delivery
Delivery is governed by our Shipping Policy. We deliver within South Africa only, via The Courier Guy, typically within 1–4 working days of payment being confirmed.
8. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Because biltong is a perishable food product, please read that policy carefully, in particular the requirement to report any problem within 24 hours of receiving your order.
9. Responsibility
VeldBees Biltong takes responsibility for all aspects of the transaction, including the sale of goods, customer service and support, dispute resolution, and delivery of products.
10. Privacy (POPIA)
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Customer details are stored separately from card details, which are handled by PayFast on their secure site. PayFast’s privacy policy is available at https://payfast.io/privacy-policy/.
11. Country of Domicile
This website and these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place an order will apply to that order.
